In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Estill County Engineers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Frankfort Christian Academy Royals.
The Engineers (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Morgan County was beaten by Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Royals now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evangel Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16.
