Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) and the host Robinson Rams (Fairfax, VA), observed Fairfax's volleyball team top Robinson by a tally of 3-0.

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions enter the Patriot contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, South County was beaten by Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rams meet the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Robinson will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Saxons go into the test with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA).
