The Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) volleyball knocked off the host New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN), 3-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Highlanders now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Providence for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. Floyd Central will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-9.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Jeffersonville Red Devils (Jeffersonville, IN) in a Hoosier Hills contest, on Tuesday, September 16. New Albany will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Red Devils enter the contest with a 5-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Christian Academy (New Albany, IN).
