In Thursday's non-league bout, the Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions (Concord, NC) volleyball team knocked off the host Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 3-1.
The Stallions now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association will clash with a Bears team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 7-6.
The Hawks (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 15-5 record.
