The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Independence (Independence, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Independence beat Varnado (Angie, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Sharks enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over North Iberville (Rosedale, LA).
