In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Leland Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hinckley-Big Rock Royals.
The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville, IL). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record.
The Royals now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Beloit for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Hinckley-Big Rock will play a Sobos team coming off a 2-0 league win over Christian Life (Rockford, IL). The Sobos record now stands at 10-3.
