The Horizon Christian Academy Warriors volleyball squad scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lanier Christian Academy Lightning to 2 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Cornerstone Prep Academy Cougars (Acworth, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 15. Horizon Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA).

The Lightning (2-14) will now prepare for their bout against Pinecrest Academy (Cumming, GA). The Paladins come into the GAPPS DI-AAA Region 2 bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Pinecrest Academy was nudged by Fideles Christian (Cumming, GA), 3-0, in a league bout.
