With the win, Johnson Central improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Breathitt County (Jackson, KY) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.

Next, the Hornets meet the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Magoffin County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
