Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Southern Rams (Oakland, MD) and the host Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), observed Southern's volleyball team hold off Keyser by a count of 3-2.

The Rams (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Allegany (Cumberland, MD). The Campers come into the Western Maryland challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Allegany was nudged by Northern Garrett (Accident, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Tornado meet the Moorefield Yellow Jackets (Moorefield, WV) in a Potomac Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Keyser will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record.
