Ohio High School Volleyball - Kirtland over Wickliffe

The Kirtland Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Wickliffe Blue Devils to 0 in the Hornets league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Kirtland will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South (Willoughby, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.

The Blue Devils (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Red Devils go into the Chagrin Valley - Chagrin game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Crestwood was dropped by Washington (Massillon, OH), 2-0, in a non-league game.
