Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Marion advances its record to 11-2 on the season. The Patriots host West Memphis (West Memphis, AR) to play the Blue Devils in a 5A East outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Blue Devils come into the outing with a record of 0-3.

With the loss, Valley View drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Blazers host Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR) to play the Raiders in a 5A East outing on Thursday, September 18. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 2-6.
