California High School Volleyball - Mary Star of the Sea tips St. Monica

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) and the host St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA), observed Mary Star of the Sea's volleyball squad nudge St. Monica by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Mary Star of the Sea improves its record to 8-12 on the season. The Stars host La Salle (Pasadena, CA) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Lancers go into the battle with a record of 7-5.

The Mariners now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brentwood School for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12.
