In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Puckett Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mize Bulldogs.

The Wolves (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Florence (Florence, MS). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Florence beat Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS) in a Class 2A Region 6 challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Mize will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Enterprise (Enterprise, MS).
