Utah High School Volleyball - Mountain Crest over Tooele

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) and the host Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT), observed Mountain Crest's volleyball team top Tooele by a count of 3-0.

The Mustangs (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeline (Millville, UT). The Riverhawks enter the 4A Region 11 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Ridgeline notched a victory over Sky View (Smithfield, UT), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Buffaloes meet the Deseret Peak Golden Eagles (Tooele, UT) in a 4A Region 11 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Tooele will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 2-13 record after their 3-2 league win over Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT).
