California High School Volleyball - Mt. Shasta tips Redding Christian

September 11, 2025: Mt. Shasta, CA 96067

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) and the visiting Redding Christian Lions (Palo Cedro, CA), observed Mt. Shasta's volleyball team hold off Redding Christian by a count of 3-2.

The Bears (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Wolves go into the Shasta Cascade battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Trinity was edged by CORE Butte (Chico, CA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Lions now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corning for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Redding Christian will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-9.
