Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic (Flourtown, PA) and the visiting Villa Maria Academy Hurricanes (Malvern, PA), observed Mt. St. Joseph Academy's volleyball team top Villa Maria Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Magic (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Germantown Academy achieved victory over Conestoga (Berwyn, PA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Hurricanes now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield for a non-league test on Friday, September 12.
