Fans at Thursday's league contest between the North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) and the visiting Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS), observed North Pike's volleyball team top Natchez by a count of 3-0.

The Jaguars (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Bobcats enter the Class 5A Region 3 contest with a 18-5 record. In their last battle, Sumrall achieved victory over Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Jones for a Class 5A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Natchez will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Pike (Summit, MS). The Braves record now stands at 9-3.
