Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Northside Rams (Northport, AL) and the host Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL), observed Northside's volleyball team top Wenonah by a count of 3-0.
The Rams (17-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wenonah (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons go into the 5A Area 9 battle with a 1-3 record.
The Dragons now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a 5A Area 9 battle on Thursday, September 11. Wenonah will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL). The Rams record now stands at 15-1.
