The Southeast Lauderdale Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Quitman Panthers to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now have a 2-10 record. They play next when they host St. Andrew's Episcopal for a Class 3A Region 5 outing on Tuesday, September 16. Southeast Lauderdale will confront a Saints squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Union (Union, MS). The Saints record now stands at 2-7.

The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons go into the Class 3A Region 5 game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Pisgah gained a win over St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS), 3-2, in a league game.
