With the win, St. Mary's Academy improves its record to 9-4 on the season. The Belles travel to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to face the Swordsmen in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Swordsmen go into the test with a record of 12-6. St. Paul won 3-0 in their recent league test against San Gabriel Mission (San Gabriel, CA)

The Tigers now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Gabriel Mission for a Santa Fe test on Tuesday, September 16. Ramona Convent will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-10.
