Texas High School Volleyball - Saint Mary's Hall over St. Augustine

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Saint Mary's Hall Barons (San Antonio, TX) and the host St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX), observed Saint Mary's Hall's volleyball team top St. Augustine by a count of 3-0.

The Barons (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the TAPPS 5A District 4 contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, St. Anthony was knocked off by St. Joseph (Victoria, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights battle the Harmony School of Excellence Hawks (Laredo, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. St. Augustine will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 8-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX).
