In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Shoals Christian Flame volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Sheffield Bulldogs.
The Flame (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cherokee (Cherokee, AL). The Indians come into the 1A Area 16 challenge with a 2-12 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterloo for a non-league test on Monday, September 15.
