The West Side Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Soda Springs Cardinals to 1 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wendell for a 3A South East Idaho game on Thursday, September 18. West Side will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Salmon River (Riggins, ID). The Trojans record now stands at 9-7.
The Cardinals (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Marsh Valley was topped by Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID), 3-0, in a league outing.
