Virginia High School Volleyball - West Springfield over South County

September 11, 2025: Springfield, VA 22152

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) and the visiting South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), observed West Springfield's volleyball team top South County by a score of 3-0.

With the win, West Springfield improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Spartans host Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to encounter the Bruins in a Patriot battle on Monday, September 15. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Lake Braddock won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Woodson (Fairfax, VA)

The Stallions now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kettle Run for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. South County will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
