In Thursday's league match, the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) volleyball squad overcame the host Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the North Farmington Raiders (Farmington Hills, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 13. South Lyon East will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 4-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Renaissance (Detroit, MI).
