In Thursday's league challenge, the host Southfield Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Whitmore Lake Trojans.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hope Christian Academy (Westland, MI). The Hawks come into the Michigan Independent - Red challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Hope Christian Academy lost by Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Whitmore Lake will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Genesee Christian (Burton, MI).
