Ohio High School Volleyball - Springfield over Western Reserve

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) and the visiting Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH), observed Springfield's volleyball team top Western Reserve by a count of 3-0.

With the win, Springfield improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Liberty (Youngstown, OH) to encounter the Leopards in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Leopards go into the battle with a record of 3-8. Liberty lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Southeast (Ravenna, OH)

The Blue Devils now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hiland for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Western Reserve will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 11-1.
