The West Marion Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Tylertown Chiefs to 0 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now have a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. West Marion will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Salem (Tylertown, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-9.

The Chiefs (0-10) will now prepare for their game against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Bobcats go into the Class 3A Region 8 game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Presbyterian Christian gained a win over West Marion (Foxworth, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
