Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY), 5-4 in a league challenge.
Next, the Griffins confront the Holland Dutchmen (Holland, NY) in a challenge, on Wednesday, September 14. Griffith Institute will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
The Bulldogs now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 24.
