In Monday's league battle, the host John Paul II Catholic Saints volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Epiphany Falcons.
The Saints (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC). The Spartan come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Liberty Christian Academy Heat (Richlands, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. Epiphany will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Heat come into the battle with a 9-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
