The McDowell Titans topped the host South Caldwell Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Titans now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enka for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 13. McDowell will confront a Jets team coming off a 2-1 league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Jets record now stands at 6-1.
The Spartans (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers enter the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Watauga gained a win over Hickory (Hickory, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
