The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Terryville for a Berkshire test on Friday, September 16. Shepaug Valley will meet a Kangaroos squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT). The Kangaroos record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Gilbert drops to 0-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT) to meet the Mountaineers in a non-league test on Friday, September 16. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Housatonic-Wamogo lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT)
