In Monday's league battle, the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers soccer squad scored a good 9-0 triumph over the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls.
The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Bulldogs come into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Albemarle thwarted South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 6-5, in a league battle.
The Rowdy Rebel Bulls (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets come into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, North Stanly was overwhelmed by West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
