In Monday's league battle, the host North Surry Greyhounds soccer squad scored a close 4-2 win over the Wilkes Central Eagles.
The Greyhounds (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Cardinals go into the Foothills 2A battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, East Surry by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 5-2, in a league battle.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the Foothills 2A battle with a 2-3 record.
