Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Rochester Zebras (Rochester, IN), 5-4 in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Twin Lakes Indians (Monticello, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 14. Peru will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Benton Central (Oxford, IN).

The Zebras now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tippecanoe Valley for a Three Rivers challenge on Wednesday, September 14. Rochester will confront a Vikings team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.
