In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Pisgah Bears soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Smoky Mountain Mustangs.

The Bears (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers go into the Mountain Seven 3A battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Franklin nipped Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights go into the Mountain Seven 3A battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, North Henderson was nudged by West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.
