Spectators at Monday's league match between the Creekside Seminoles (Fairburn, GA) and the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), witnessed Creekside's softball squad prevail over Banneker by a count of 17-0.

The Seminoles now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Washington for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 13. Creekside will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 23-1 league win over KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Banneker moves to 0-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Jackson (Atlanta, GA) to face the Jaguars in a 5A Region 5 match on Tuesday, September 13. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 2-9. Jackson won 23-11 in their recent league match against Tri-Cities (East Point, GA)
