The Kell Longhorns softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Campbell Spartans to 1 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Kell improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Longhorns host Centennial (Roswell, GA) to clash with the Knights in a 5A Region 6 game on Tuesday, September 13. The Knights come into the game with a record of 6-5. Centennial won 16-4 in their recent league game against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) in a 7A Region 2 game, on Tuesday, September 13. Campbell will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 5-9 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA).
