Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harris County for a 5A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, September 15.

With the loss, LaGrange falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Grangers host Riverdale (Riverdale, GA) to face the Raiders in a 4A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, September 13. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-8. Riverdale lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
