North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cape Fear Academy over South Brunswick

September 12, 2022: Southport, NC 28461

In Monday's non-league contest, the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Hurricanes battle the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 14. Cape Fear Academy will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).

With the loss, South Brunswick drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Laney (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a Mideastern 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, September 13. The Buccaneers come into the contest with a record of 11-0. Laney won 3-0 in their recent league contest against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
