The Paramount Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting El Rancho Dons to 2 in the Pirates non-league victory on Monday.

The Pirates now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a San Gabriel Valley game on Tuesday, September 13. Paramount will meet a Bears team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Whitney (Cerritos, CA). The Bears record now stands at 4-2.

The Dons (7-11) will now prepare for their game against Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Chiefs enter the Del Rio game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Santa Fe nipped Whittier (Whittier, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
