The Gretna Hawks volleyball team (Gretna, VA), was dropped 3-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA)

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Piedmont challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Martinsville was dropped by Morehead (Eden, NC), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Gretna will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
