The Jefferson Cougars volleyball team (Shenandoah Junction, WV), went down 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA)

The Pioneers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Cougars enter the Northwestern challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Kettle Run went down by Sherando (Stephens City, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Applemen come into the battle with a 9-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to McMichael (Mayodan, NC).
