The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions (Morristown, TN) and the visiting Knoxville Trailblazers Trailblazers (Knoxville, TN), saw Lakeway Christian Academy's volleyball squad beat Knoxville Trailblazers by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Lakeway Christian Academy upgrades its record to 12-1 on the year. The Lions host Providence Academy (Johnson City, TN) to play the in a D II-A East 1 bout on Tuesday, September 13. The go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Providence Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin Road Christian (Murfreesboro, TN)

The Trailblazers now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage Home Scholars for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 13. Knoxville Trailblazers will play a Lady Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Lady Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
