In Tuesday's league battle, the host Homedale Trojans soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Payette Pirates.
The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fruitland (Fruitland, ID). The Grizzlies come into the 3A District III battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Fruitland nudged McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Baker/Powder Valley (Baker City, OR). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Baker/Powder Valley nudged Weiser (Weiser, ID), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
