New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. New Hanover will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.

The Scorpions now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoggard for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 14. North Brunswick will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-0.
