The Castro Valley Trojans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting San Leandro Pirates to 0 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a game on Friday, September 15. Castro Valley will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Belmont, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-1.

The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Berkeley dropped by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 2-0, in a league game.
