North Carolina High School Volleyball - Holmes tips Currituck County

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Aces battle the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Holmes will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Nighthawks go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC).

With the loss, Currituck County moves to 3-5 on the year. The Knights host Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 14. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 3-1. Pasquotank County won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Manteo (Manteo, NC)
