In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host J.H. Rose Rampants volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the New Bern Bears.
The Rampants (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Perquimans defeated Tarboro (Tarboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bears encounter the Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 13. New Bern will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 7-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC).
