In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Wayne Country Day Chargers.
The Hurricanes (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC). The Centurions come into the NCISAA Coastal Plain battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Coastal Christian nudged Greenfield (Wilson, NC), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Chargers (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights come into the NCISAA Coastal Plain battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Greenfield nudged John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
